Cattle

Nepal is land locked country with a population of 2.6 million. The agricultural farming system is mostly based on livestock integrated and inter dependent. If we consider the population engaged in farming is about 80 percent of the rural people and in overall 65 percent are active in farming. The population of cattle is about 75 hundred thousand which contribute about the 40 percent of the milk in the market and buffalo contributes about 60 percent of milk.
Livestock is the lower priority for the farmers where grain production is high, but for the rural area livestock is of great importance. Cattle is of prime which supply the fire fuel and milk to the farmer. Dung is used as fire fuel by making dung cake and used in cooking the day to day meal. Milk is the major output which  is  used in their diet and these can be sold for cash purpose. Milk of cow is very useful for both children and the old people of the house hold. They only sale surplus milk to the market.
Milk market is very easy in Nepal. The tea shop use it of different preparations, as well as the sweets from it. Nepalese people like sweets and things prepared from milk.
Thanks for now.
